Wow, I can’t believe we are at week number 70 of the Your Inspired Design party. I hope you are finding as many fun ideas with this party as I am.
Link Party I have been very lax with my blogging as of late. Can I get a show of hands for the people out there that feel like they can’t catch their breath? Honestly, it is kind of ridiculous over here at this point. I won’t give you a list of what I’m dealing with (because ain’t nobody got time for that) but let me just share this with you…we have rats. Nice. For all of you that have said “Holly, your house is probably never messed up”.
First of all, seriously, have you ever met a person who loves to craft that didn’t have a messy house at some point? We all have a slight hoarder tendency.
Secondly, rats.
Do you feel better about the pile of laundry that you haven’t folded in 3 days? Or how about the fact that you didn’t wipe down your sink before bedtime last night?
Now you’re going to laugh with a feeling of superiority at that and think “Holly has rats”.
You are welcome. Feel good about yourself today. You deserve it. Your attic is rat free. Way to go.
I feel like I have done my good deed for the day.
So you see, this party is much needed today. I need to see that other people are out there having fun and being creative. Every day isn’t going to be a ‘rat in the attic’ kind of day (I feel like there should be a meme or a printable with that saying)
So let’s pretend that we have no worries and are just here because we have a stash of crafting/painting/decorating items that need to be put to use. We are just here to be inspired.

Over at White House Crafts, there are the most adorable confetti gift tags.  Make several up in one day and you are ready for every birthday party that your kid’s friends will throw at you!

Mary at Orphans with Makeup shows us how to white wash a gorgeous piece of antique furniture.  I love how all of the details stand out after she is finished with it! Great job!

And finally, I love the makeover done in this powder room at Jersey Girl In the South. All of her details are right up my alley!

Now, I bet you aren’t thinking about anything negative are you? Only good thoughts and the perfect reminder that you don’t have rats in your attic.  You. Are. Welcome.

Just here to help.

Oh Holly, I feel your pain. Last winter we had rats in the walls of our bathroom. We couldn’t figure out how they were getting in. It was nasty. Nothing worse than having those critters invading your space.
Good luck with getting rid of them. Word of advice…don’t use poison – they just die and stink up your home. (don’t ask me how I know) yuck.
Thanks for hosting! I’m off to party!

Oh boy, R-A-T-S, not a fun thing to have to deal with. Good luck with solving the problem and thank you so much for featuring my buffet.
