You never know what you will wake up to when you are a blogger.  The other morning I woke up to Google putting a big ol’ red screen on my blog and proclaiming it ‘unsafe’. Well turns out, there was something on my blog that I didn’t install.  Which is utterly annoying.  But thankfully that issue is resolved and I can go back to the days of just thinking about paint, decorating, antiques and items found in the trash.

Link PartyOther than dealing with hackers on my computer this week, I also had time to make some framed art and even take pictures of it! That, my friends, is the only way I got through the stress.  Painting and playing with power tools may just be my love language. Here are the two that I completed.

They were fun and pretty simple to make.  So the next time you are dealing with a very stressful situation, just get out your nail gun and miter saw.  Take a deep breath and put on your safety goggles.  Everything will be just fine honey.

Now to less stressful topics…Your Inspired Design link party! I got the honor of choosing the links that were my favorite this week and I know I say it every time, but that is hard! Bless my heart! 😉

This week at Lolly Jane, you will get to see the cutest kid’s bathroom makeover.  It is just too cute and the color scheme is perfection!

And then Ellis at My Heart Lives Here goes and paints a pumpkin blue and her fans cheer.  Because everyone needs the palest blue pumpkin. It a little magical, in my opinion.

Lynn at Nourish and Nestle needs to be my friend and live closer to me so that I can get some of her Spiced Golden Plum Jam.  That name alone is worth me trying to make my own.  It sounds like a warm welcome home slathered on toast.

Take a few minutes and go to these sites.  Give them some love.  Encourage them.  It means the world to these creatives.
