Carol here, I’m your hostess this week and I’m excited because we have some fabulous posts to share.

This Your Inspired Link Party is a special one. Last year at Haven Conference, the ladies who bring you this link party met, bonded and formed Southern Haven Tribe. We haven’t reached our year anniversary yet, but we met again at this year’s Haven and had a reunion and enjoyed each other’s company again. We are all back home now and bursting with ideas to bring you more great ideas and content on our individual blogs.

Having said that, if you are a blogger who links up at Your Inspired Designs, we have to say “sorry” for not commenting, posting, pinning, Instagramming  (Is that a word?) your wonderful posts. 4 days of seminars, meet~ups, group pow~wows, and travel, etc. pretty much takes up the days. Sprinkle in a few meals (Haven feeds you really well!), meeting with fabulous vendors, browsing their products, DIY workshops, and oh, sleep ~ you get the picture.

One of the best parts of Haven is meeting YOU! It was so awesome to meet Carol from The Red Painted Cottage and Lynn from Nourish and Nestle among others. Hugs to everyone!

Let’s get started.

I was immediately smitten with Kathryn from The Dedicated House idea for wrapping books with coordinating paper for a pretty and cohesive look throughout your home. As a book lover, I have hundreds of books that could be prettier in my home decor.

My idea of the perfect DIY project is easy, inexpensive, practical and pretty (or cute). Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate created these great napkin rings that fulfill all those criteria. She used the napkin rings in her Alfresco Tablescape Blog Hop last week. (I was a part of that fun, creative endeavor ~ if you missed it, check out my Romantic, Coastal Alfresco Tablescape and visit all the beautiful table decor.)

We all love finding discarded items on the side of the road (That hasn’t happened to me yet!), at garage sales, flea markets, and thrift stores and turning them into something useful and pretty. Julie at Live from Julie’s House did just that with reclaimed wooden shutters. I love how she used them to make a stunning outdoor living area.

Enjoy these and all our other link~up ladies and please share your beautiful content.
