Hello lovely people!
Remember back when we talked about furniture and whether or not we should paint it?
And remember how I said that we have an armoire with Holly-do-not-touch-this-piece-of-furniture caution tape on it?
Yep. Me too…
So I found another way to dress it up a little.
I put some 3M Command hooks on the inside of the doors. But I hung them upside down so that the burlap ribbon could hook on.
Is your mind blown yet?
I knew it.
Mine is too.
The wreaths are from Target and were on clearance so I got both for about $28.
Not too shabby I tell ya.
Mr. Creativity approves <sigh of relief>.
This piece is from a furniture builder in Nashville. It was purchased by Mr. Beverly* Robinson who died in 1910. We aren’t sure how old it is, but it has to be at least 104 years old.
*sidenote-Johnny Cash originally wanted to sing a song called ‘A boy named Beverly’.
…but it didn’t roll off the tongue very well…
Every piece on this armoire comes apart like a puzzle and there are markings that you match up and fit together. Every time we move, this is the piece we both worry about.
Well, that and my craft supplies…
…priorities people, priorities…
Do you have any furniture with caution tape on it? Maybe there is a way to dress it up a little without damage. I’d love to hear about it!
