My Christmas cards are finished. Done. Enveloped. Stamped. On their way.
How cute are those kids?!
Well I’ll say, they look very cute here but they were making me quite crazy while I was snapping these pics. I told them to laugh and the youngest opened his mouth as wide as possible and made a sort of horse noise. Which made everyone laugh, but doesn’t look great on a Christmas card. sigh.
After what seemed like an eternity we were able to get a decent picture of the three of them. They do clean up nice, I must say.
Getting the perfect shot is now the hardest part of doing Christmas cards. It used to be that I dreaded addressing the envelopes. I would get hand cramps. My hand would be stuck in a claw type position for at least a day after addressing 125 cards.
We could call it the ‘Christmas Claw’ in an attempt to make it sound more festive, but who are we kidding?
Then in walks Minted. They waltz into my life and just kind of whisper in my ear “there’s a better way”.
They will print your recipient addresses for you and there is no extra charge for this. Right?!?!
It’s like a Christmas miracle printed in black and white (and red)!
I actually sat, relaxed and watched some TV while stuffing the envelopes.
No Christmas Claw for me this year.

*Last year I shared with you my 3 main reason for sending cards each year. Those reasons still hold true. I received my first card in the mail yesterday (from my brother and sis-in-law–they are always the first!) and I can’t wait to put it on my card tree by the front door.
**I was provided free product by Minted.com in exchange for my honest review of their product. I have used Minted in the past and loved my experience tremendously. I only recommend products and companies that I like.
